Delicious Strawberry Oaty Bars

Living in Blairgowrie we enjoy an abundance of strawberries. Recently our 4 give and take larders have been receiving donations of strawberries from McIntyres Strawberries and Thomas Thomsons Berry B Stall. 

To help make the most of all the strawberries, we asked Sam for a Strawberry Oaty Bar recipe (see below) and created baking kits

Sam’s Strawberry Oaty Bar

I punnet strawberries

90g butter

300g oats

100g sugar brown or white

Heat oven to 180/160

Chop strawbs

Mix all ingredients together

Press into baking tray/tin/dish

Bake 40 mins

Allow to cool for 10 mins

Enjoy

Optional extra

Drizzle with white choc when out oven
