1 April - Begin the development of the LPP Implementation Plan
Once the LPP is registered, the real work begins to plan and develop the implementation.
31 March 2025 - LPP Registered
The LPP will be registered with PKC.
24 March - End of Consultation Period
The end of the consultation period when all feedback will be considered and minor amendments made if applicable.
24 February - Start Date of 28 Day Consultation Period
Our aim is to have the final first DRAFT ready for 24 February to share with everyone inculding the required list of consultees (local councillors, surrounding Community Councils etc).
20 February - Core Group review final version of first DRAFT
We will review the completed first DRAFT of the full LPP in preparation for the 28 day consultation period for the proposed submission document.
17 February - Core Group finalise comments
By Monday 17 February we aim to have added all comments to the initial draft in preparation for proofreading.
12 February - Core Group LPP Document Review/Update
The Core Group will come together to go through latest updates.
3 February - Core Group working on Draft LPP
Having captured the details over the past months the core group are now submitting comments and content etc for the compilation of the LPP Draft
23 January - Core Group meeting
The core group met again to discuss progress.
16 January - Meet with PKC Planning
We met with Dante Sosa from PKC Plnning to discuss progress of our doument and get some updated informaion from PKC.
13 January - Core Team Meeting
Our core group will meet to run through progress.
9 December - 5th Meeting
We shared the structure of the document and the initial content to those who attended and got some great feedback, further questions and suggestions which we will incorporate into the draft.
Once this gets to a stage where we'd like to share it we will upload it.
21 November - Meet with PKC
A 2nd meeting with PKC Planning Department to review progress.
18 November - 4th Meeting
We met with locals on Monday evening 19 November to go through progress and provide an indication of the comments and ideas received and had a good discussion over the full 6 themes of the LPP.
Work now continues on collating the comments and preparing the document.
14 November - Visit High School in November
We visited the rest of the ISP pupils and held another session in Barry Bites during lunch and spokle with around 30 puplis from Blairgowrie High School and got some great feedback.
12 November - SCYD Comments received
We received a compiled list of suggestions from the young people at SCYD as a result of the maps being there for a week and our 2 visits.
8 November - Survey Closing Date
Online surveys closed on Friday 8th November.
8 November - Visit High School
We visited the ISP pupils and held a session in Barry Bites during lunch and spokle with around 50 puplis from Blairgowrie High School and got some great feedback.
5 November - Drop In at Library
Local Place Plan Drop In held at the Library from 11am to 1pm with more people providing comments.

30 October - Open Spaces Meeting
The Open Spaces meeting looked at the open spaces, cycle paths and path networks and what we would like to see going forward and we encouraged the groups to complete the survey.
22 October - 3rd Meeting
Mtg held updating progress on boundary maps, town centre focus and opporunities, suggestions/comments and things to include in document.
16 October - Maps at Climate Cafe
The maps will be at the Climate Cafe for them to review and provide comments.
15 October - Speak with SCYD
We will be speaking with the young people to hear their ideas and will be collecting the maps to bring them back to the BaRI Building.
8 October - Survey Closing Date set as 8th November
The closing date for the surveys will be Friday 8th November 2024 to allow us time to collate the ideas and theme them. We then plan to ask people to select the ones they agree with in order to identify how popular each is which will help going forward.
4 October - Maps and Talk at SCYD
We took the maps to SCYD and chatted with the young people about the LPP and what their ideas were for the town. The maps will remain in SCYD until 15 October.
28 September - Attend Farmers Market
We attended the Blairgowrie & Rattray Farmer & Producers Market on 28 September with the maps and surveys and had a steady flow of people discussing ideas and the maps with several surveys either completed or taken away.
18 to 27 September - Maps in BaRI Building (store times)
The maps and surveys were in the BaRI Building (55 High Street) from Wednesday 18 September to Friday 27 September and were available for people to drop in at store times.
17 September - 2nd Meeting held

10 to 17 September - Maps in Library
The maps and surveys were in the library from Tuesday 10 September to Tuesday 17 September - a Train Station and Heliport were among the interesting suggestions!
8 September - Attend Highland Games
We attended the Blairgowrie & Rattray Highland Games with the maps and surveys and chatted with lots of people - including some from overseas.
5 September - Posters & Surveys distributed
Posters and surveys have been distributed around the town.
7 September - Braemar Day
We handed out some surveys at Braemar Day and spoke with people.
2 September - Meet with PKC
Met with Alasdair Finlayson from PKC to discuss - PKC will support process but not comment on content
19 August - LPP Initial Meeting
Meeting held with 27 attendees to run through the process.
15 August - LPP Maps Created
6 x local maps created and current things we have annotated and added. Maps will be used in locations to focus ideas and allow discussion.
