Large open space for festivals and events
Identify large open space for festivals and events, probably bogles field. Designate this for open space tourism.. Alyth Show, Cateran Yomp, Highland Games and maybe other music festivals, pipe band competitions etc.. Need to ensure space is protected to allow future expansion of activities. Also part of field, probably the periphery can also be used for bio diversity and environmental initiatives.
Parkrun
A parkrun would attract more people to the town but recognise locating it is very difficult but it could be part of a new development.
More local events and attractions
More events for teenagers and young adults Paint ball competition Money prize type Competitions.
Pick your own farm, shop and events/workshops.
Build on Christmas Shopping event.
A Blair Fair to promote the town to prospective businesses looking for growth opportunities – it’s a growing town in a lovely spot.
Concernt, theatre, festivals.
Walking festival incorporated with Yomp.
Something to attract visitors.
