UN - 16 Days of Activism to End Violence against Women

To raise awareness about the various forms of violence against women.  

25th November – 10 December, the UN’s 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women.  

There will be orange ribbons, posters and a banner on the Wellmeadow railings, with posters in many businesses & shops.

And an orange themed window competition. 

25th November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

10th December is Human Rights Day.
