Join us at Nest Creative Spaces for a friendly introduction to crochet, perfect for absolute beginners or those looking to refresh their skills. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, run every month, you'll learn the basics of crochet, including how to hold your hook, work simple stitches to create the classic granny square.

Granny squares are a great starting point for new crocheters — they’re small, versatile, and ideal for using up leftover yarn, and can be put together to make everything from a blanket to a bag to a cardigan. Once you've mastered the "Granny" there are over 200 other block designs you can try!

All materials are provided, so come along, connect with others in our creative community, and discover the joy of making by hand.

Light refreshments are included.

If you find you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the space to someone else. Thank you.

The cost of this event is subsidised thanks to the sales made in our remnant shop, keeping it affordable for all in our community.

Nest is an inclusive organisation and everyone is welcome. If you have any additional needs or require additional support during the workshop please contact us in advance of your booking so we can make sure we are able to provide it.
