The group has been running for over 20 years and was originally based at the Rowanbank Community Learning Centre until they moved to Alyth. For a time we struggled to find a permanent home but we are now happily settled in Blairgowrie Bowling Club where we meet every Friday morning from 10am -12.30pm.
At the moment the group is made up of about 18 ladies and 2 gentleman. We are all mature amateur artists involved in various types of mediums i.e. oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastels and coloured pencils. We have a tutor who attends fortnightly to offer help and guidance (as well as inspiration) with our various projects.
We try to hold an exhibition every year when the public can view our work and hopefully buy if they so wish.
