Home Energy Advice Team Plus (HEAT+) Blairgowrie, Rattray and the Glens Project
The Blairgowrie & Rattray Development Trust Ltd have funding for an additional two years, through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund, to employ a team to extend an initiative offering home energy and other energy saving opportunities to people in the Blairgowrie, Rattray and Mount Blair area. In addition, the team will launch and deploy a local community shopping loyalty scheme.
We are currently looking to fill one post, which will start on 4th June 2018 (or as soon as possible thereafter) for a fixed term until 31st March 2020.
The role we are currently looking to fill is as follows:-
Status: Full Time Fixed Term Contract (35 hours per week)
Salary: £24k per annum
We are looking to employ an Energy Advisor to work as a member of the Home Energy Advice Team.
We are seeking an individual with good inter-personal skills, who has an ability to work effectively, both as a member of a team and also on their own. They will also have good communication, planning and organisational skills.
The primary responsibilities will be to:
- provide support and advice to domestic householders looking to increase their energy efficiency
- carry out home energy efficiency assessments in line with targets
- undertake educational initiatives relating to the project
- assist with the launch and deployment of a local community shopping loyalty scheme
