RSPB Hen Harrier consultation
Community Consultation exercise to identify what people know about Hen Harriers
Aimée Nicholson from the RSPB Hen Harrier LIFE+ Project, an ambitious EU LIFE+ funded scheme has provided the following information.
The aim of the project is to provide the conditions in which hen harrier range and population recovery can occur. A core part of this work is community engagement, in range of our target Special Protection Areas (SPAs), and Forest of Clunie SPA is one of these areas.
During October, we will be undertaking a Community Consultation exercise across the project areas, which aims to identify about what people know about Hen Harriers, how they feel about them and if they have any knowledge about the project already. The results of this consultation exercise are very important as they will help us shape the way we deliver community engagement for the remaining two years of the project.
Please feel free to take part in this survey and help the RSPB to distribute copies of it to your community?
If you are aware of any other groups in the Forest of Clunie area that would also like to have their say then please feel free to spread the message as we are aiming for as many responses as possible!
