Living Streets Community Street Audit – Blairgowrie Town Centre

Thursday 30th March

"We are especially keen to hear from local residents with a mobility or sensory impairment, older residents, and those walking with children, to better understand how streets can be made more accessible and appealing for everyone."

Living Streets Scotland will be supporting The Centre for Inclusive Living Perth and Kinross and Perth and Kinross Council to take forward a Community Street Audit of local streets and spaces in Blairgowrie and Rattray on Thursday March 30th. The event has been rescheduled from February, when as a result of stormy weather, we were forced to cancel. We are still very keen to hear from any residents, contacts and stakeholders that would like to attend either of the 2 sessions scheduled for the day.

10.30am – meet, safety briefing, walk Red Route

12 – meet back at Blairgowrie Town Hall; agree priorities for reporting

1.45pm – meet, safety briefing, walk Blue Route

2/2.15pm – meet back at Blairgowrie Town Hall; agree priorities for reporting

3/3.30pm – close

If you, or your contacts, would like to be involved, please get in touch with penny.morriss@livingstreets.org.uk for further information and to book a place.

If you or contacts are not able to attend, but would like to share experiences of walking in Blairgowrie, then I am happy to be contacted via email or over the phone at the number listed below. Please do get in touch!

We are especially keen to hear from local residents with a mobility or sensory impairment, older residents, and those walking with children, to better understand how streets can be made more accessible and appealing for everyone.
