Our Gardening expert - Gordon Croll

I was brought up in Coupar Angus and introduced to gardening by my late father and we always had a large garden which was devoted to vegetables and ornamental plants. After leaving Blairgowrie High School I studied at Elmwood College in Cupar Fife and then served my gardening apprenticeship with Dundee Parks Department. Once my time was served I was fortunate to be accepted for the Diploma in Horticulture at the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and was followed by time in sports turf maintenance and a spell as chargehand gardener at Belmont Estate in Meigle.  Read More >
